Biography:

 

Kimani Artist began his journey at Full Sail University studying Creative Writing in the Entertainment Industry in 2017. In 2016, while working at his mundane warehouse job, he utilized his free time by created characters, backstory, and a spec-script for an animated series.

"Bubble Gum Succubus," uses original dialogue along with a fusion of dialogue from another story, intertwining two completely different stories.

“Bubble Gum Succubus,” takes you on the horrific, sugar-induced celebration of Carlie, a 14- year-old girl, who enjoys Halloween. Her sure fire plan to win the school’s costume contest by wearing an inappropriate succubus costume might give her the edge to win. A story of a lessoned learned to instill merit. 

 

“Banking Done Your Way,” is a story that hits on a harder note to the reader. It follows Terry, a young husband, who is celebrating his fifth wedding anniversary with his wife. The plan for the night, was to celebrate on a night out on the town, but first a quick stop at the bank. A heart-pounding experience that will make it an anniversary that they will never forget.

"Down and Out," is a short script that uses a diverse array of characters and their arcs. This story uses succinct dialogue and rambunctious events to keep the reader on their toes.  A true character arc element is placed on several characters throughout the script.

Due to a horrific car accident, Kimani spent most of his time caring for his brother, while testing to get into The Long Ridge Writers Group in 2003.
